The Utah State Board of Education invites local education agencies (LEAs) across the state to take part in Make the Future Visible: The Postsecondary Transition Success Challenge.
Research has identified key Predictors of Post-School Success: specific in-school experiences and skills that improve employment, education, and independent living outcomes. These predictors matter, but data alone doesn’t change lives—educators do.
Join the Challenge
Deadline: March 15, 2026. The challenge form has the requirements, the full list of Predictor definitions, and the place to submit your entry.
Showcase Your Impact
Highlight how your LEA implements one or more official Predictors through Self-Determination, Paid Work Experiences, Interagency Collaboration, or other evidence-based practices.
Submissions should demonstrate:
- Connection to a Predictor
- Implementation in action
- Impact on student outcomes
- Replicability for other LEAs
Ways to Submit Your Work

Video
A program tour, student interviews, or a “day in the life” look at the predictor in action.

Written Story
A narrative describing your strategy, implementation, and impact.

Slide Presentation
PDF or PowerPoint outlining your approach, data, and visuals.

Display or Poster
A digital infographic, collage, or other visual showing the predictor at work.
Recognition
Winners will be recognized at the April Utah Special Education Administrators Meeting and here on the Utah Transition Elevated website.
